Anyone know where I can get some of the old school thrush muffler decals. The ones that had just the woodpecker head. I have the new ones but they are a large decal. Not as cool as the old ones. I remember back when I was a kid in the 70's I used to see thjose decals in the rear quarter windows on a lot of hot rods.
Can you post a pic of the old school style? Or even the new style? I have lots of old decals and I believe several Thrush; but am not sure if they are old style without seeing the "old" style.
A shot in the dark but..... Why not try to contact thrush and see if they have any old ones kicking around. Worth a try.
Mooneyes Should have them!! http://www.mooneyesusa.com/shop/index.php?cPath=87&MOONSESSION=0ahk9ot8qoan8aoekh4tap0h15
Just my 2 cents, I took some of the new ones (came with some muffs) and used an x-acto to cut out the pecker and stuck them on my toolbox. I always liked the old style too.
I checked and have the old ones but they are ruined... Roof leaked over winter and ruined hundreds of decals I had on the bench.
My favorite version of the woodpecker, is the Clay Smith Cams " Mr. Horsepower." http://www.nchwa.com/dseries9.jpg http://images.search.yahoo.com/sear...mage&fr=mcafee&sz=all&va=clay+smith+cams+logo I used to always have this decal in my quarter windows, but they really screwed up the last cam I bought from them and took liberties with my order.
