Which floor shifter for 904??

Hello FABO. What would you guys recommend for an aftermarket floor shifter for me to use? The car is a 68 cuda with a near stock 318 and a column shifted 904 tranny. I am having issues with the column shift linkage and just cant get it to work right. I would like to do away with the column shift and put a floor shift in it. Would it simplify things having a floor shifted auto, as far as linkage? What are the pros and cons? What is a good one to use? The car will be street driven, and most likely will not see any strip. Maybe some very light autocross...

I have a B&M Mega shifter or star shifter I dont remember haha, but it is ratchet style thats just the shifter for a forward pattern VB, I only want like 50 bucks because its only the shifter you would need the boot and the box and the cable
