Putting a 360(1984) in my 318 truck(1987) so I need a balancer (reman long block did not come with one).Should I use a stock/used one or go aftermarket? Will I have any problems running all the pullies/accessories from the 318?
Thanks in advance.

Stock engine? Get a stock balancer...

The 360 is externaly balanced. Only a balancer from a 360 will work if you chose to go with used. As for aftermarket, i like the "Pro Race" Nodular Iron balacers, they come with the option to bolt an external weight on the inside of them for an external balance. Nice product for the money. And yes you can run all the accessories on the engine... Here is a link. I have run them and like the quality, very nice product

Hmmm, well I don't know about using one of those balancers. You may want to look at what happened to one of them in this thread with 2,000 miles on it.
