If you know, have them PM me. Thanks.
I saw this just the other day but don't know if it's true.
I have a set of spare NOS stainless core wires, as used on the mule. Was wondering if the current owner restored the car to original... (???) Notice the boots go straight in, not 90 degree. I bought them from a guy that worked at the Woodward Garage. I'd trade them for an NOS set WITH the 90 degree boots.
....Road Runner horn.
I don't "notice" straight boots in that picture. They look 90 to me.
Another angle of the straight plug boots.
I don`t know for sure, but I thot Billy the kid Stepp wound up w/ that car . ???
yes completely restored in 1993...
From what you can see on this pic, it is pretty much as it was in ´68. Wiper motor, oil caps, no SP wire separator by the coil, chrome valve covers other radiator cap and wiring routed a little different. In other words, a little different from those cars later delivered from Hurst. And yes the Mule Car had these straight plug boots back then.
Those are 1967 RO WO wires I believe.
I'll get a pic posted of the NOS wires I bought from Tom Tignanelli. He drove the mule, back in the day, running some tests at Chrysler.
One of the big guys. Member of the Mopar Missile Pro Stock Team and a Mopar Hall of Fame, to mention some...
Yes, that would be my friend, Tom. Bought a pair of stainless steel Nascar headers and NOS dumps from him years ago also. Great guy...
funny...that caught my eye as well.
Remember....the checklist that a few of these cars had said “Road Runner horn, Barracuda only”
From what year are these photos?
I have angle boots and would like those straight ones for the California Flash. Guess I need 2 sets...but I'll buy or trade for whatever I can get. Please get a hold of me Denny firstname.lastname@example.org
Photos are from 1968, when the mule was new. Peterson Publishing has a photo archive. I typed in "Woodward Garage" and an entire series of mule photos popped up. All kinds of angles: inside, under, etc. I'd recommend anyone interested in details of this car to check it out.
Sorry, Is it just me or.. I couldn´t find it. You have a link? Thanks...
It's you! lol... Archive.petersen.org Hopefully, the restored car looks like the vintage photos. PLENTY of details in the 3 pages of photos, like disc brakes.
I will send you hi rez pics to your email. I need angle boots, dated late 69, up to Jan or Feb. 70, but not later.
These are from 68
pictures are from Popular Hot Rodding May 1968
Couple of pics of my wires.
