Wild finish for game(s) 162 MLB Playoffs

Well, they're moving on regardless, and letting/forcing Glasnow to pitch in that condition could result in an injury that'd ruin Him for the rest of the post-season.....even tho' it resulted in a nail-biter, I think it was the right call if true.
According to Glasnow, he experienced some cramping in the third or fourth inning, but it didn't affect anything. Roberts was just looking for an excuse, but lucky for him it didn't cost the team the win. He has a long history of pulling his starters prematurely.

Go Cubs!

That's gonna haunt that pitcher for a few years. He had plenty of time for a play at first.
But he didn't know that because the batter running to first was behind him. He was rushed because he booted it and thought he could make the play in front of him, whereas turning to check the play at first could cost a chance at a play anywhere.

Agreed. Nothing wrong with the decision to go the shortest way to the plate. What went wrong was the throw.
And it looked like the runner had to come back to touch the plate.
I thought he got it, and the ump called him safe before he came back. I guess he was just making sure.

I think he may have even lost track of the outs all together and thought the force out at home was his only play. Once he booted it, it was a cluster all the way around. Complete mental error, but it happens.

Either way, that's not why they lost in my opinion. Can't score one run through 11 with your top three going 1-14 w/ 4 K's and only 1 walk and expect to win. Not that the Dodgers played any better, but their bottom half kept grinding and that what's made the difference.

Go mariners, game 5... should be ready to face the jays but a bullpen shitter is bound to happen lol

Great pic Todd! She's a cutie. They got tix?

No tickets. That's Mommy with 3-1/2 week old little sister. Pumpkin shopping is about as lively as things will get for a little while. But if the M's win tonight maybe some tickets will come as a bonus from his company's home office in Toronto.

Seattle just flat-out stole a run.
Check swing oops double, no look steal of third (to get there with one out), sac fly.
How to do small ball right!. I wonder if the Yankees are watching?

Yep no need to try and crush it. They said some insane stolen base stat for Naylor. I think perfect 12/12?? And he ain't fast, just smart!
Myles Straw the other night hit a bloop single the same way and got an rbi.
Yankees strikeouts were horrific looking lol
