Will it Fit?

71 Dart with SBM. Looking at Super Victor port EFI intake and Edelbrock 4150 TB. Intake is 6.3" Tall and TB is 2.53" tall for a total of 8.83". Any chance this will clear a stock unmolested hood? Car is disassembled so I can't measure anything at this point.

I have an edelbrock performer on my 72/318. At the base next to the heater hose connection I have 8 3/8". Hope that helps some.

I have super victor -ish intake on my LA. Part of the "Pro-flow" efi setup and the throttle body is pretty short, maybe shorter than a carter, much shorter than a Holley. Iirc the height with a drop base air cleaner was no taller than the old 66 single plane 4bbl intake and trailer tire sized air cleaner. Unless the super victor has a 6" plenum extension on top, I bet it will fit. Edelbrick has pictures and height specs of their intakes on their website.

An outstanding data point. I believe the Pro-Flow system used a Super Vic and the same 4150 Edelbrock TB that I'm looking at.
