Will this bell housing work in my 67 Valiant currently w/ a 230 3 speed already in and functional but paired to a 170 /6 currently?
I would like to use it to pair up my 230 with my 273 and eventually my 360.

Listing says 1966-68 B body small block bell housing. #2536940
Fits 230 3-spd with 10.5' clutch and 130 tooth flywheel.

@Dan Brewer can tell you for sure. I don't know if the B body clutch z bar mount is in the same place for the A body or not. Dan will.

Here’s a 69 bb bellhousing with the A745 & A833 pattern with a A230 bolted to it so, yes, that bellhousing will work.

What about the location of the hole for the pivot arm? Would that be in a different location on the B body vs A body bell housing?

You would just use the 67-76 small block a-body fork and fork pivot. The 2 pivot holes are in the same location regardless. The difference is in the fork pivot .

Yes, just like a 73 340 roadrunner and a 73 340 Duster would use the same bellhousing but the Roadrunner would use a short fork with matching pivot and the duster would use a long fork with matching pivot. Same basic idea here

You would need to modify the ball stud bracket assembly with this bellhousing. How much and what exactly? You would have to mock it up and see. Don't think it would be too difficult. As others have mentioned, use the 67 and newer A-body pivot & clutch fork.
