working on 72 Duster.

what does this adjustment do? I'm guessing it makes the coil / clock spring in the regulator tighter or softer to allow for easier window crank assist, but do not know. Hate to experiment on a finished ride.

Thank you in advance for any input

a stop???..that could be, but there are already front and back stops on the glass for height and a big rubber bumper at the base of the door. Today I scrounged thru my leftover doors and discovered a 70-72 door with window and guts. It is now in the warm shop and will get dis-assembled tomorrow. Time for a re-fresher course.

Good Luck! Those '70-2 Duster/Demon doors are no fun to work on.

after my refresher course, I found my "tight" issue. The new AMD side glass I installed is bowed about 1/4" in the front.

never did figure out what or how the adjustment I was asking about works. Too glad I found the problem and moved on to more pressing matters.
