Windshield trim issues

Having a horrible time installing new reproduction windshield trim on my 1969 Dart GTS. Has anyone had similar issues, are they accurate to original pieces? My car was missing it’s original trim. Back glass went on easily but windshield won’t snap down tight.

Are you using the correct clips? There are at least three different ones. Suppliers commonly send wrong ones or incorrect amount.

Good question, I’m using the ones that are similar to the drawings in the shop manual.
