Pretty Good weekend for Nevada Missile Motorsports!
Jon my boy faced in the finals, Sacsa Hoofer who is former NHRA
Sportsman World Champion a couple year back. She is our friend and
a Sister in Christ. Jon had a .01 in the finals. I bowed out in the Semis
to another Champ who put up a .01 and took a .01 stripe on me.

In the Saturday finals, Jon faced CW Hoofer (her husband) and our Christian
Brother in Christ. CW is the Current NHRA 2024 Sportman National Champion.
He also won the Stock World Finals in 2024 (Spanking me in SemiFinals there).
Jon had a .01 Red in the final on Saturday.

However, Jon did recover Sunday beating CW along the way to his victory
on Sunday.

I will get Jon to post some pictures in a little while, when he gets home from driving
the older boys to School.

God is so very Good to those who love and chose to follow Him!

The Red Valiant was on the Cover of Hot Rod Magazine back in the
90's when still in print.

It was vote one of the most influential cars of the first 50 years of Hot Rod
Magazine and was invited to be display in the Peterson Automotive Museum.

It is capable of running 10's thru the mufflers as driven on the Street.

For Sportsman the fastest possible dial in is 11.50 so it carries a ton of lead
bars in it and is way detuned. Still you have to be on your game on the finish
when you are holding tenths instead of hundreds.

Nice John !! Congrats !!.. I have been slowing down from high tens to 11.50 for over 10 years now .. its not as easy as it looks!

Jon's Valiant also ran a couple of NHRA Divisional Races
in Superstreet when one of our buddies needed a car to run
in that class. It was the only one I saw at those races that was
a real Street car in our part of the country.

We will be a Wild Horse racing Double Div. with four or five
cars in Stock and SS.

Stop by if you are going and have a Soda or Adult Beverage (If of Age)
with us.

God is Good!

Well this weekend Jon beat Sasca Hoofer (World Champion Sportman)
in both Pro and Sportsman. I do not know if that will ever happen
again!

She is planning to race our N/SA Aspen at some NHRA races this year!

Wise men still seek and find Jesus if they try!

Great job!
I also race with my son and it's blessing to say the least.
Looks like you may have the 3rd generation drag racers before long.

It's refreshing to see people proud to announce there faith.God bless you.
