I am looking for a 4 barrel intake manifold for a 65 273 motor..I understand that later years are different bolt angles??? anyone???

Yes they are, and different size bolts as well, but, can be made to work fine, if you aren't doing a "numbers" resto.

Thanks Val, not doing a "numbers resto" If I can't find a 65 intake, how do you
adapt to the later yr??

Just need to "waller out" the holes a bit...the early ones are just a bit different angle than the late ones...other than that, they're pretty much the same intake. You'll also need a 4 barrel throttle bracket as the 4 barrel carb (Carter/Eddy or Holley) is wider than a 2 bbl, and 4 barrel kickdown linkage, although the 2 bbl stuff can be modified (extended) to work.

You can do the same to aftermarket intakes (Performer,LD4B, SP2P, etc) as well, in case you don't find a stock one, as long as they have the smaller 273/318 intake ports.
