I have a good lid just need latch wire. Come to think of it, I'm not sure if the button works either. All I know is that now that my car has the 408 in it, the glove box keeps opening up during hard acceleration. What you got???
Could be missing the spring. It's only on one side (can't remember which one). I've got some extra '67 hinges here in Fresno. I put them all in the same box, but I will need to find it...
Its a over center type spring. I'm thinking if your spring was missing the door would hang open. You have door lock in a vert. Lock it? Owners without the lock might add magnetic strip to doors perimeter?
