Year of seat

Is there a way to tell what year a bucket seat is from? I'd load a pic of the seat but can't figure out how.

is it a low back seat or a high back seat? Does it have headrests? That will be the first things to look at.

definately 70 or up, look through legendary auto interiors online and compare. I'll look and see.

they came with my 72 Demon but wasn't sure if they were correct seats because of the velour upholstery material. I want to recover with vinyl so that's why I need to know the year

72 had hard plastic backs on them and the seat back release was a push in button on the outward side of the hinge. The 73-up seats have vinyl soft back and different release for the seat back that is on the rear of the hinge with a little chrome pull up knob. would help to see a side view of them.

these seats do not have hard plastic backs but I will need to check what type of seat release button it has
