Yipes, Stripes!

-
Not yet. It's been a busy year! But I'm about to order a top and stripe. I'll keep it updated.

Fun fact, the nice lady at SMS auto fabrics told me that using protectants on vinyl tops destroys them. That was the first thing I did when I got my car (in '95), and the top was tattered in a year.
A busy year? Or two? Get on it! I wanna see a dark green stripe on a white car with a dark green top.

I painted Mine on, it was an Olds color tho', '70 Radiant Green....

I see, I get You're attempting to poke fun, but a Boss Stripe is the only '''Stang Stripe" I associate to a Mustang........hence the ?????

Yah, yah....Like this!
fits right into the body lines... if you had a 67-69 Dart. There's a reason the 70 stripes are slanted.

Related for the OP. There is a reason that the factory 1970 stripes have a deflection in the center. There is a slight body line in the 70-73 trunk lid trunk lid. When they put a straight line across the lid it looked wrong when you stand behind the car and looked at the stripe across the lid. 67-69 trunk lids don't have this body line. When correctly installed the factory 1970 stripes with the slight deflection look absolutely straight when viewed from behind - optical illusion. Don't forget the bend.

Glad they finally fixed them in '70.
