My dream now would be to have a new job painting cars!

I never had a dream job, work sucks. I would rather get paid to do nothing but I love my job right now.

I am the owner of one and partner in another auto appraisal company, I have been doing auto appraisals for about 13 years. My day job I am in charge of plant maintenance, welding and custom fab work in a custom shower door factory. I also did 7 years of truck driving for the same company and I still do a vegas run every now and then. I have done everything from a slaughter house, working Rec. Issue on Camp Lejeune, NC to building street rods.

Never thought much about it when I was a kid. Hey wait a minute,
I'm still a kid even tho I'm 62

I've been in some kind of Engineering all of my working life. Civil
Engineering working for the city my senior year in high school.

Drafting after graduating then a Quality Engineer then a
Manufacturing Engineer

This was for the same company. Spent 41 years with them.

The best job I ever had is the one I have now......retired!

I just spend time in the new garage.

Porno director would be neat too, I'd get to cast the girls and... you know, find out if they got what it takes. he he

I want a job like Tony.I'm working on it and it's getting closer.Been working for 44 years,just about time.8)

As a little kid, I wanted to be a scientist. My understanding of the broad term was a guy wearing a lab coat messing with chemicals and discovering cool stuff. I accomplished this childhood goal years ago during a stint as a radiochemist.

Now, I spend the days sitting in my recliner while seeking gainful employment and yelling at/about nothing in particular. This is neither as glamorous nor exciting as it may seem to the casual observer.

Game show host ... don't have to be bright, just witty. The pay is good and nobody hates you.

See and this was a comment someone posted and I feel the same way....

"I came across this video didn't take long time to tear up, this is deep and the world was a friendlier place your right "

Today it really sucks A$$ does not matter what you do, goverment wants it all, people all over the world want to kill you, they dont make a Plymouth anymore man oh man! People used to love being a mechanic, hair dresser, lineman , cop etc.. We sat and watched football, no internet , no cell phones, no political crap all the time on 100 cable channels etc.

Just life, nicer people, great cars, happy TV shows and a lot more love to go around!

When I was little my dream job was to work in the law enforcement field. Instead I got married at 17 and didn't go back to school until many years later. Now I am a Early Childhood professional, teacher of the very young minds. I am currently going back to school to get further education which my work is paying for. But I think I am getting to old for these children. They wear me out, especially the boys!!!!

I never really thought about it but I always wanted to blow stuff up. Now I blow stuff up and get paid extra to do it.

As a kid everything that moved fasenated me. I took every toy apart to see how it worked. I found my dream job at about 8 yrs old when family vacation took us to Six Flags Over Georgia. I wanted to be in the maintanance crew at a place like that. At 14 I talked my way into changing a few light bulbs in the canopy over the Himalaya ride at Myrtle Beach. I got to ride the running boards a few rounds too. I wanted to learn to jump the running boards like the other workers did but that wasn't goona happen. But hey, playing on a ride until almost 2:am was a dream come true.
I did plant maintanance in a textile mill for 10 years and helped the Upper State Fair knock down just once. That was close enough for me.

I wanted to be a racecar driver after I saw a movie called "Redline 7000".
Now, I race around driving firetrucks!

When i was a kid, i wanted to be a mechanic. My dad had a sand and gravel business and i crushed gravel, ran equipment etc. in my teens. I got into welding/ H.D. mechanics when i was 19 and did it for about 20 years. I now set up and run equipment in a factory that makes canola oil, shortening, and margarine and puts it into the bottles/ containers. If you've seen Canola Harvest oil or margarine, it might have been made by me. It's an o.k. job. I've been there for 8 years now.
I still weld and pull wrenches on the side.
Dream job?
A machinist.

I want to sit in Arizona in the winter time with a drink in my hand waiting for happy hour!
Worked in the timber industry for 36 years, love working outdoors.

I always wanted to be a **** star, when I didn't make it I had to settle for plan B, running a speed shop and part time NASCAR Official. Still Happy with my choices!!!

As a kid I wanted to be a State Policeman......never did though. Now that I'm retired I do now have my second dream job. I work part time in a golf proshop at a private country club. I love the work and the members are all really nice people. The nice part is free golfing any time I want to.8)
