Your teen age cruisin' hang outs

-
We used to cruise Portage Avenue in Winnipeg, the hang outs were the parking lot at Polo Park shopping center, or the A&W restaurant across the road. They still had carhops until the late 70s or even early 80s there. Also cruised on Main street, with a couple of coffee shops as hang outs. There was lots of light to light races along Portage, but the serious racing was usually out on a stretch of the north perimeter highway, typically around midnight as I recall.
Here it seems to be along 3rd Ave and Mayor Magrath Drive on Saturday nights with any random parking lot serving as a hang out.

we cruised from the A&W on the north end to the car wash on the south end. a little over 1 mile. we parked at the tire dealer, wells-norris,(still in business by the same name) in jerseyville and listened to WLS from chicago.
