Hi all. I am in need of some help. The back ground, putting a 440 4spd in a 68 barracuda. Motor, trans, drive shaft are all in and bolted down. I have bought the z bar set up and f body rod from brewers. When I bolted the z bar in, it's tilted down towards the motor. If it were straight, I'm thinking the rod would fit. Any insight on how to remedy this.
The other problem I have is the shifting. I had the wrong bell housing. After I pulled the trans and swapped the bell housing. It doesn't want to shift into reverse or 1st and 2nd. 3rd and 4th seem to work fine. I replaced all the all the washers and clips. Any ideas?
I'll try to put a picture of the z bar, but not that good at it.
