I bought a Zirco fan switch and it said to install it into the top rad hose neck which I am not really big on. Has anyone used this and put the temp bulb between the fins in the rad? Just wondering if it would work just as well.
Thanks
AL

I think the reason they tell you that is because it would be the first spot to get hot when the thermostat opens. I think if you put it on the rad close to where the hot coolant would hit the rad when the thermostat opens it would be ok. Mine is on the rad on my Duster, I put it right below where the upper rad hose connects, the first point to get hot on the rad.

Thanks Keith, like a dumb *** I followed the directions LOL. See what happends. I just didn't like the way it hooks up, if it leaks I will go with your plan.
Do you have a relay on yours?
I had mine working now the switch won't shut the fan off.
Thanks
AL
