the v8 center link
the sway bar assembly
the center console shifter and linkage is tentatively sold

Looks a little too nice to part out. Not the eighties, just don't see many in that condition around here in the rust belt. I know I couldn't do it.
it was offered with 1 xtra parts car 3 engines 3 rear ends 2 complete 4 gears one nice set of rally rims and baskets full of parts for 4,000 on this site 3 years ago no one wanted it

I’d be interested in the limited slip if it’s 7.25. But I’m sure you’d want to sell the whole rear end, and it wouldn’t be cost effective to ship the whole thing.

you have to help me on this one. It is a 7.25. were all commando cars limited slip? Could we verify it?

Jack up off the ground one rear wheel. With the trans in neutral you shouldn't be able to rotate the raised wheel. This is IF, it indeed is a suregrip

If it was a 235hp car it should be limited slip. However, a lot of these have been removed when the rear end needed repair. My convertible is an original 235hp car that should have a limited slip, but it’s gone. I think the welded hole in the diff cover is a good clue to what happened to it. Easy to check.
it was a commando 235 hp. I already sold the engine. If no one nearby wants the whole rear end I will consider shipping you the center section.

Great. You can just jack it up with both wheels off the ground and spin the right rear wheel. If the other wheel spins in the same direction it is limited slip. If it spins the opposite direction it isn’t.

You forgot to mention to put the trans in neutral. Also this method doesn't allow you to know if the suregrip is working ? With one wheel on the ground in neutral you won't be able to rotate, thus you know it's working the way it should at least for now.

you 2 figure this out and ill do it

Avaustin is correct in principle but if the suregrip is weak it may still rotate in the forward direction off the ground but not under load. This is why you leave one wheel on the ground. If it's holding you won't be able to turn the raised wheel. I think both parties would like to know before shipping costs are incurred. Just saying. Good luck to all.
