Hey truck guys, is this a home made deal or did Dodge actually build these at some point? It was kinda cool looking but at the same time kinda weird. Sorry for the crappy pics I was driving.

Home made, but cool as heck.
I thought so too. The execution probably could have been cleaner, with body work and paint, but it actually looks like it could have been factory. The top was rhino lined or some type of textured paint and wouldn’t be my choice, and I would have carried it through the door/window openings also.
 
Looks like an International front and Utiline box with the front cut off. Craig
 
DeSoto badged trucks in South America had an extended cab version. Saw one in the Pilothouse section of the P15-D24 Forums.
 
About 10 years ago it was real fashionable to make club and crew cab vintage trucks.

I even saw a stretched, 4 door jeep CJ-5.
