I have SS springs on the Duster and the rear end was about 6" higher so I put in lowering blocks on the axle and the ride height is about normal. I have comp engineering 3 way adjustable shocks and when I hit a bump seems like shocks bottom out. Car rides like crap.
I would like to restore to a more normal set up. Which leaf springs and shocks should I go with? And what vendor to use?

Thanks Gary

Gary, ESPO 6 leaf +1 seem to be quite popular around here, the seem to give very good ride, handling, spring rate, and price.

Shocks, I use KYB, but I've head of the Monroe, Koni, Bilstiens etc, being used too.

Here is a thread on the ride height with pics:

Also, if you want yours to handle, think about bigger torsion bars, around 1".

Search around, there is a lot on the subject.

Enjoy!

We carry Bilstein Shocks (Set of four $419), performance (1" lowering leafs $479) or stock ride height leafs spring $409. Also available are new front leaf spring hangers $89 and reinforcement plates $39 if you are interested and remember we offer a members discount and free shipping.

Thanks
James

On my Duster, (74) I used the ESPO 1 inch over springs and KYB shocks. The ride was good, a little stiffer than stock with good control. ESPO also offers stock ride height springs.

On my Cuda ('73 4spd) I went with PST. I did a total front and rear rebuild through them minus the S/S springs. I retained the stock sway bars. There material was and still is in excellent shape 10 plus years later. The car handles wonderfully. Nice and tight. Real responsive and sharp! I would think twice about going back with them.
