Decided to watch it again tonight. Has anyone seen it? Does anyone know the whereabouts or story on the Cuda that was featured in it? Anyone know of any stories regarding the film? Thought it was a cool movie.

Is it too difficult to post a link? Never heard of it.

Looks like it might be good.......but boy, John Schneider certainly didn't come close to making the top ten billed, did he?

GSS were the ones with 440 engines. 50 or so '68 GSS Darts were created aftermarket by "Mr. Norm" (Grand Spaulding Dodge). Later, in '69 you could get a factory 440 GTS Dart, of which 660 or so were built. And of course there were also 383 and 340 GTS Darts in '69. So there is always some confusion.

By the way, IMHO the movie is pretty corny and not very well done. Has a big "religious" story-line in it too. If you start counting up all the technical errors regarding the cars, and drag racing, you'll go nuts. Not sure why nearly every car-related movie ends up being kind of stupid these days, but that's how it is.

Thanks for the info on the GTS/GSS!

It is a cheesy movie, but was able to look past a lot of errors and stuff. Guess it filled a good for me and was nice to see a heavily influenced Mopar flick.
