Will do John. Hope your hand is ok !

I can barely hold down the E string on my Bass with my index finger. Forget about the other fingers.... But believe it or not, I couldn't hold down that string yesterday. My left hand feels so much better than when the right hand was done. The pain has subsided almost totally.

Won't be long..... http://www.websmileys.com/sm/music/musik15.gif

Isn't there a mopar only show at Barnes airport in Westfield, MA in the June time frame?

This would be a fairly central place to get together.

Not sure. Im looking to do more of a BBQ, social event type of thing.

MassMopar had their first cookout at Rutland State Park last September. It was a great turn out, great weather, good food and great friends.

Why not have it here in NM? It's sure to be sunny and it's just a short 1200 mile trip for most of you:) Really though I may be up that way in may-june for my son's graduation this year. Or........maybe a week's vacation and a shakedown road trip.

When Amy & I went to San Diego 3 yrs. ago we found out the San Diego Mopar Club was having their monthly meeting while we were there. We invited ourselves (it was held at a Mexican Resturaunt.... good food!) to their meeting and introduced ourselves as visiting NY'ers. They treated us like family.

Why should this be any different? Canada...California...Arizona...even Nu Joisey.... we'll take all of ya.... :thumbrig:

Yeah, the guys in the San Diego club were very accomodating. They put us on their mailing list for their newsletter, gave my Wife a beautiful embroidered sweatshirt, window stickers for our cars. Class act. The guys whom ran the club definitely sent us home with a great memory of our visit. Not to mention after the meeting/dinner the party hit the parking lot for a few hours and we all talked about what we have...had...and are building. Great time.

I noticed at Carlisle quite a few online forums and clubs set up tents. I think the A body section was the only area lacking a specific club tent..at least from what I could remember. An FABO spot might be a novel idea?? Would make it pretty conspicuous place to have a general meet. Could sell some FABO T's, set up a grille. Maybe sell unauthorized parts too? lol . 2009?

Been watching this tread as this is what happens in the Midwest Region. Like Tom said. Pick a Mopar event already structured around your area and set up a base gathering spot for all to meet. Take a big ass BBQ grill and do the chicken wings and brauts and burgers and have those that come do a little chippin in to cover the grub and drinks. The Midwest group have started setting up at Monster Mopar Weekend in St Louis and theres no reason the guys in the west couldn't do the same at an event in their area. Get you a big FABO banner made up and hang out your shingle. The only stipulation in St Louis is that you can't serve food. You can cook and eat for your own gang but you cant sell any. When you buy and pay for 8 swap meet spaces the guy that runs it in St Louis trys to bend over to make you happy. We had the most spaces of any and all vendors last year and i don't expect that to change. Now your wondering who pays for the spaces. I do to make it available to FABO members. It aint cheap but my fun is priceless. Hope it works out for ya.

I'll have my Dart in the A body section with my 10 year old son. We'll have one of those $100 tent things from Walmart set up so we can get out of the sun, and we'll be flippin some burgers & dogs for survival. Anyone is welcome to stop by and chill out in the shade. I don't know how to let you all know who I am, other than the fact that I'll probably have the only gold 69 Swinger 340 at the fairgrounds. Last year I didn't see one gold 69 Dart.
