waachewdoin?
Got all my running done this am. The Honda's all legit like with a metal tag on it. Was going to mess with the boat some while it's nice, kneeled on the deck. My old decrepit *** is gonna have a hard time with this.......... Where's that long armed lanky guy when you need him????????

HOPPY where u is???????????:poke:@halifaxhops:lol::lol:

Inboard ?? or I/O ??:BangHead:
Mercruiser I/O. Engine is below deck in a hole. Probably have to pull fuel tank that sits just in front of it to get the engine forward enough to come up. It only has like 80 gallons of gas in it and I only have three 5g cans lol The fuel tank has an access hatch and then the engine cover sits on the rear lip of the fuel tank hatch if that makes sense.... Could be worse. The engine needs to come forward about 12 inches to clear the rear baitwells/boxes.

Yeah... I used to be a boat guy. Last speed boat I had was an 87 Wellcraft 23 Nova. 260HP Mercruiser. You know... I couldnt leave it alone. Built a 383 stroker for it and put through transom exhaust on it. I was nice, and fast, and all that. But it was the second happiest day in my life , when I sold it. LOL

I hear that and am thinking the same thing. Think it's going for sale in the spring. It really snowballed on me. Fresh engine , new manifolds, risers, elbows. All looked good from the outside, but crumbling apart on the inside.

I grew up around them with my Dad and thought I wanted one. lol

Best thing about boating, you take everyone fishing, get home back up the boat, unhook and look up while you're dragging hose out and all you see is tail lights zooming down the driveway. Lol

Not always, but......

Yup..........

After that boat, I had a real nice Sea-ark, Aluminum 16 ft center console, with a 50HP Mercury outboard. I used it to run trot lines for crabbing for years. Then I sold it, cause I did all the work, Nobody really wanted to go, except my dog Gunner. Sold it 2 years ago.

Yep, Boat, Bust Another Thousand

Buddy has a Hydrostream, 16.5 foot. 175 hp outboard. Just shy of 80 mph. Fun boat.

Just a hole in the water that you throw money into.
Lots of boats here, right in the middle of cottage country.

Weather guesser says winds in excess of 60 mph tonight/tomorrow. Spent the afternoon securing things. Generator full of gas too.

Batten down the hatches!

I'd have to have a 273 in my boat. Hell, I don't have a boat. I can't even swim!

Sometimes it sucks to be a moderator. I had to delete a post from Ulf on my sale thread yesterday. Dang!

How do you know what he meant? Maybe he meant something entirely different...

Oh yeah, and it's "I saw that" not "I seen that". :poke:
Cause I'm a mind reader and I seen him post that boat :poke:
