Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yep, pure accident. I'm not even sure how the burner got turned on. I'd set a box of canning jars and the pressure canner on the stove for temporary as we were cleaning the canning stuff and getting it put up for the winter. Walked outside for about 2-3 minutes and came back to that.
I bet THAT got your attention!

scary - that's why they put the control knobs on the back - those old school stoves were pretty dangerous

Did a nice job on the adjacent counter and wall too. Cabinets above were probably involved as well.

Old stoves could let the knob be turned in either direction. One bump and it's either on "high" or "low".
Hell the new stove in my house(bought in 2015) let's you do that but the knobs are on the back at least

I'm more mad about the pressure cooker. It's a 70 year old National brand . But it's toast now

One hour and 20 min. on the phone with a member interested in my 66. No more did I get the phone hung up and another messaged me, also interested. Then anotjer member messages about a LD4B. Busy tonight.
