Im getting ready to start painting the interior trim pieces such as the dash, glove box, ashtray, and other trim. My question is should I go with a gloss black or satin black.
Dash & some but not all other parts are suede.
What is your car type, model year & interior code?
True. The interior colors are never all the same shades and no bright gloss. Sometime on feebay you will find the OEM paint chart for your car. On the back side it will give the recommendations as to gloss and the different parts of your car. painters refer to % of flattening agent applied to get the needed amount of NON shine!!SEM Landau black is nearly perfect match for those suede finish pieces you mention. Off the local shelf too. There isn't a supper high gloss anywhere. A-pillar trims, roof rail trims, kick panels, etc.., do have a medium gloss finish ( compares to vinyl with Armorall applied ). I can't say what is best for these pieces. I can only say supper high gloss appliance epoxy was a bad choice.
