Well, my trusty 2004 Avalanche transmission conked out on me this morning shortly after speaking with Tim (no the guy in front of me with the flying mattress had no part in it ) .
Since it only has 196000 miles and I' ve owned it since new, I think I will have it fixed......and that will probably eat up the budget I had for the 66 Valaiant. So if anybody else wants it please go ahead and thanks again Tim for taking the time to check it out for me.
Oh well, I still have my 65 Coronet to pump "excess" money into!
