Saw that on the news Biff. Breaking heat records and even warmer today I think.
My late Brother-in-Law was from The Land of Oz. He said a lot of people would start work at 2am and finish at 10am before it got too hot. The humidity would run down the walls. Too hot for me I'm afraid

We turned off the air and opened the windows. Got down to 19C overnight.
Whoopee. We can now get a haircut as our Province has now opened up. Gyms and strip joints have to stay closed. There's a surprise!!!!
Morning guys was 59* this morning and the high will be 87* I can live with that no problem.
Working today replacing the front bumper on a new Toyota pick up. I remember the good old days when a bumper was one piece but now there is about 30 pieces. lol

Turning 65 this September and getting on medicare and what a hassle dealing with all the health care advertisements sending me stuff in the mail and my phone rings at least 3 times a day trying to get me to use there coverage for health insurance.
School never thought me to deal with this bull **** and I'm getting tired of people knowing about me with out my permission.
And another thing no one told me when I get old my nose and ear hair starts growing faster and it takes longer to go pee but **** happens real fast.
There I said my 2 cents worth I feel better.

Been there done that. Poor dogs. I have no dogs but I can think of better ways to train them.

Morning guys and Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canucks. You've probably heard about all the Indigenous kids taken from their families and put in the schools to be trained not to be Indian. So far they have found over 1100 bodies buried using ground imaging radar. Horrible stories about everyday there were beatings by the nuns etc. One woman said her grandfather was left blind and deaf in one side because of a nun hitting him in the head with 2x4.
Every day they were fed porridge when down the hall they could smell bacon and eggs wafting from where the nuns and fathers ate.
The catholic church was one of the biggest culprits and yet the Pope has yet to admit to any of this. Probably because of paying any restitution to the survivors or any of the costs of finding these poor kids.
Now the Indigenous people want Canada to Cancel Canada Day this year.

The same **** is happening in the US with cancel culture. We send a woman to represent us in the Olympics and she turns her back on our flag. That would be like running a touchdown for the opposite team in a football game.
She has to realize she's representing your country. Protest at home if you must but not in front of the world.

Well the decision has been made. I have not been to my favorite yard in a long time so I will go in the morning. I see several cars that have come in on the list that may still have bumpers on them. Sorry Fred I cant take a camera with me in the summer without the big chance of getting jacked. In the winter with a coat I can do it. Still running a flip for phone.
Agree ,temp has gone down to 71f this morning kinda normal now it’s was very unusual weather because normally it dips down at night because of the ocean breeze .

Mark, with them finding all the unmarked graves , the school in Saskatchewan for example ran from the 1800s to 1997 there’s a lot of years with tuberculosis outbreak‘s etc. They were not equipped to deal with such things with there lack of knowledge, now don’t get me wrong what happened to those kids was a tragedy beyond comprehension . Sad days for sure ,all we can hope is we do a much better job moving forward.
