For the assistant mechanic..
Yeah it's not too bad. I'm not sure about the battery box I know nothing about these trucks at all... We looked at a couple Dodges of this year but my wife really seems to like the Chevy. It's smaller she just wants something smaller...Pretty low rust for our area. Is that the battery box access on the passenger side floor board?
My 63 Econoline van was like that. Had a cool cover with a twist handle to lock it in placeyes the battery drops down through the p/s floor
A Chebby body on a Dodge frame? Oh, the sacrilege!Or Dakota.
You can also use the frame from a late 80’s S-10… long bed Standard Cab is the one your after if you’re going to make it a short bed! These guys are the go to for upgrades or for a complete new chassis
I'm already inquired about a slant 6 for it...A Chebby body on a Dodge frame? Oh, the sacrilege!
I called on the glass. It seems as we have a local here that can get all of that and the seals..Good cab corners, thats the first place to rust out, those look good. Do you have the corner glass? Those are hard to find. You may be able to find aftermarket, they make alot of parts for those trucks, very popular trucks to restore.
Yes it's completely for my wife she doesn't want a hot rod. Again likely a slant six or something....Wifes truck?
If so, it has to get a supercharged LS7, so she can smoke your a..
as competitive my wife is, she would. lol
Again, I wish I had your energy.
Or spend a little coin and drop a 302 jimmy I6 In it or a 270 if you can’t find a 302 reasonable. The 302’s are getting pricey.Looks good! Put a 250 Jimmy straight six in it, it'll be different (not a smallblock), and those were the GM engines to soup up before SBCs!
