Brewtus' DustAAR (hopefully) build. Don't expect much.

Only questions I could think of was the supplier of the spoilers. I think I found a source for the rear one on Fleabay, and possibly a small front one. Nice car you have there, sir. Mine won't be anywhere near that caliber, just a stripped-down Trans-Am racer-style build for fun at the...

No muffler hanger on the right side of the car, only the one on the left - And the tailpipe bracket - This car was not a 340 car. It was a 318 4-speed Twister, so it does not surprise me that it does not have the dual hangers. If you can use this, PM me. I certainly don't need it.

Hmmm, don't know. I'll check when I get home this afternoon. Not much progress. The 340 block I retrieved last weekend is not in good shape. I need to have it inspected at the machine shop, but I'm pretty booked up for the next 3 weeks or so.

Those do look sharp. If I don't go with the Superbird-style "Plymouth" callout on the rear of the car, I'll go with those. :thumbrig: Birds, yes. Along with squirrels, mice, rabbits, and a cat or two. The car was abandoned in the east mountain area for years before I got it. Now it sits...

Brewtus' DustAAR (hopefully) build. Don't expect much.

When I started the thread, I had no idea that car existed. My plans are for more of a AAR/Autodynamics style Trans-Am racer, not a show car. No 6-pack, nor anything really related to the street oriented AAR Cuda. Caged, bare floors (well, maybe Line-X'd floors anyway), lightweight buckets...

Brewtus' DustAAR (hopefully) build. Don't expect much.

Yeah, it's been a while. I did not really want to post pictures of a pile of parts, but some work has begun. I disassembled the OD 833 I got with the car. Does not look too bad, and I've already made arrangements to have countershaft bushings made. I also went down to my dad's place in...

'74 Dodge D100 Adventurer - Finn The Truck

Awesome stuff. Always liked them 'ol D-series trucks. A couple shots of mine. My '77 D-100 Custom, taken several years ago. Now has a serious oil-control problem (smokes more than an oil derrick fire) from the $25 junkyard 360 I installed in 1995 to replace the thrown-rod 318 it...

    Tow Rigs

I can beat that ugly truck! :D My 1972 D-300 ramp truck. Got it off Craig's last summer, traded 1-1/2 motorcycles for it - Originally equipped with a 400, advertised having a 440, actually powered by a 1964-vintage 413 (wouldn't be my first choice either, but that's what's in it) with a...

Trans-Am info for the 1966 Barracuda

If I'm not mistaken, Lee Dykstra ran the Trans-Am Mustang effort out of Kar Kraft for the Bud Moore team in 1970. If he's the guy in your shop, I'd say you have a distinct advantage already!

    SCCA Prepared C FABO Build

Awesome build! Very motivational for me to get busy on that pile of parts that should make a '72 Duster when done. Subscribed!!
