    8 3/4 info and help

The 8 1/4 in my Duster is screwed. At some point someone lost a bearing cap and put a miss matched one in with shims between it and the bearing races. So I've decided to start looking for an 8 3/4 yo replace it. I had thought about a Fors 8.8, but decided to keep it mopar, for nothing more than...

    Daly's 72 Duster

Took the Duster for it's first run of 2018 Took it for a drive again today now that the weather looks like it's finally take a turn for the better. I really need to do some work to the front fenders, they are fibreglass and when the guy who had it as a race car put them on, he didn't...

    Neutral switch in 904

That's kind of the reason I want a switch in the car. At the very least, so I can have my foot on the brakes.

    Neutral switch in 904

Not sure what's causing it yet, but the new one is going in Friday. The garage I go to knows they are long, but maybe not by how much. I'm not paying for the replacement, my mechanic is good people and is doing what it takes to fix it. Is it the middle wire on the switch that is the neutral...

    Neutral switch in 904

Not sure where my mechanic has been ordering them from. But I'll ask when I call tomorrow.

    Neutral switch in 904

The safety neutral switch in my 904 keeps going bad. It just started, I've replaced it three times now. What could be causing this?

Thanks for the welcome guys. I finally had a chance to enjoy it today. It's not the first time I had it out, the first time it over heated. The fan was not capable of cooling the rad in traffic. I added an electric fan the next day and walla, she's a happy camper in the city now.

    Core support pics?

Thanks Alaskan, that helps. I'm going to be installing an electric fan this weekend, so I'll be looking to build some brackets to get this support right.

    Core support pics?

I noticed my grille isn't lined up all that great. And after some looking around, it looks like the upper grille/hood support may not be siting far enough forward. My car use to be a race car and has fiberglass fenders and what looks like homemade supports to attach the grille support to the...

Post your wheel and tire combos.

17x8 American Eagle 211s with 235/45r17 up from and 275/40r17 out back nitto 555 g2's. I had these on my 69 Coronet before and thought I'd try them on the Duster and I'm happy. It does look like I have room for a x9 and wider tire out back though.

    Cleaning up the engine bay...

Hmm I like those, I would probably run them on the exhaust side too. But those would be a simple solution.

    Cleaning up the engine bay...

My new Duster is pretty clean under the hood, except for one part. The spark plug wires. Does anyone have wire looms for their small block, if so who makes them and would you buy them again? Spark plug wires running wild has always been a pet peeve of mine and I'd like to wrangle them in and...

Thinking about joining the A body crowd.

Thanks guys. It was originally a slant six car, but it is painted the original B3 Basin Street Blue. The 360 is a little hopped up, and recently rebuilt. Transmission is rebuilt with a reverse manual valve body, and it has an 8.25. The 8.25 is what I worry is going to be the weak point, but time...

I for the life of me can't remember because I look at a lot of cars the day I stumble across it. I do think it's a 71 or 72 though. I'm going back to look at it today with my dad, he's a retired body guy, and I'll get more info and some pics then.
