EFI considerations for a 1970 383 with very mid cam

Thanks to all for the information, experience and recommendations. My prelimanary reseach showed the Holley as a very good candidate. Another question: I currently have an MSD distributor and MSD 6AL box. It's hard to tell from your posts if this is suitable with a Holley Sniper. Will this be ok...

EFI considerations for a 1970 383 with very mid cam

Hello all, I am switching from an Edelbrock 650 to an efi. Looking for some key considerations I need to be aware of when picking the efi system. This is my first swap so any knowledge is better than whee I am now. I have a new tank, inside tank fuel pump and feed / return lines - just need...

    Seat belt bolts

I have the same question as the OP but for a 1975 bench seat Duster. Looking to replace the jury-rigged setup currently in the car with three point belts (no center belt). If anyone knows the bolt size for that year, or maybe even have the bolts, please let me know. TIA

    Bayonet shifter - won't give!

SUCCESS! Follow-up on shifter - took all the suggestions of using one size larger feeler guage, .011, and soaking with PB overnight. Had my son help (who's alot stronger than me!) and by pulling the shifter to the passengers side really hard allowed the guage to get deeper, first pushing down...

    Bayonet shifter - won't give!

Crude 418 thanks. All the posts I've seen say the indent is on the drivers side and the new lever I just bought from Brewers has the detent on the drivers side. I'll try a larger guage as going smaller doesn't work (tried that already). I'll go as big as I can. I'll let you know how it goes...

    Bayonet shifter - won't give!

Hello everyone, I read that to remove a bayonet shifter, a .01" feeler guage works. I've been trying for a while now and the guage gets in about 1/4 inch and then stops. Attempts to push it further results in the guage bending from the force required. At this depth I've pulled and yanked and...

Pictures needed of mounting locations for retractable 3-point seat belts

Ok, thanks I'll try that. I will probably have to take up the carpet and get more involved as the PO put sound deadening matting all through the interior!

Pictures needed of mounting locations for retractable 3-point seat belts

Hi All, The PO redid the interior on my 1975 Duster and only installed a simple lap belt anchored to, what looks like, a random bolt under the seat. Can anyone provide pictures of where the retractable lap, or better yet, retracable 3-point seat belt mounts? I ask because the same PO recarpeted...

    Rebuilding a bench seat

Here is the 'after' pic (albeit not well lit). It shows the new very stiff seating area along with the relief cut-out for the shifter.

    Door panel screws

Hey everyone, Does anyone know where to purchase the below screws with button caps? I have a few stripped ones I'd like to replace but cannot seem to find these particular ones. I'd rather keep these rather than replace all of them with something else. A previous owner put these in. TIA

[WANTED] Inner door handle for a 1975 Duster, drivers side

Hi everyone - if anybody knows where to obtain the referenced item could you please let me know? I can't seem to locate one anywhere (Year One, Ebay, Classic Ind, etc.) I've attached a borrowed picture from a past post of the passsenger side as reference. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

Where to post a "wanted part" post

Thanks toolmanmike, I'll do that and see if it gets removed again. I'm looking for the inner door latch for a 1975 duster - hopefully not too random.
