can i use the magnum 318 balancer with the old style timing cover?? any ideas

old style "la" 318 harmonic balancer work on a new style magnum 318 with the old cover?

have a 87 3.9 front "la" style timing cover and belt setup that i need to use on a 96 magnum 5.2. which harmonic balancer would i need to use, using the old style setup on the newer 5.2. are the older 3.9 and magnum 318 both internally balanced the same??

its going to be carb. no need for the crank sensor. i believe.. the mag 5.2 is balanced differently then the old style LA motors. but unsure of what the 3.9 is?

any idea's?

87 dakota, 3.9 carb 904lu. want to use a 5.2lmag block. what flexplate can i use??

i found an old MP catalog. it shows the P5249464 valve spring for both motors. so im guessing that it should be fine...

no. thats the 390hp newer crate motor. heads are the same on the 300 and 380 from what i can find.

has anyone converted the magnum 300hp 360 MP crate motor to the 380 hp model. from what i can find its only the cam and to a single plane intake. any ideas??

well all the mounts are new, u joints are new, rear springs are new. just restored it!

68 dart, 273, stock 904. 8/3/4. what would cause a shudder on a hard acceleration... also any idea what the driveshaft length should be? I think the one in it is too long.. thanks Jim
