    Strange rubbing noise

When I first went to a Mcleod I had to add play because the fork was touching the clutch cover when the pedal was depressed fully. Added play and all ok. I know you had no problem before but may have changed the adjustment upon reinstall. Also, have also gotten the tob off the fork. A pedal stop...

I've had it with cheap Chinese trailer tires!

FWIW - I believe that all of the ST tires are rated at 65MPH This was another reason I went the LT route

I've had it with cheap Chinese trailer tires!

I just changed my trailer tires/wheels from 15" to 16" and put on Michelin LT tires. Load range E. Its interesting that a European company manufactures them in the US/Canada. It looks like all the ST tires are made on the other side of the world

    first track day with caltracs

I think the one thing I should have tried is good double adjustable shocks on the rear. Do you have any pictures of your launch? Stick shift racers?

I couldn't tell you how much more a stick is than an auto since I've never bought an auto. A jerico DR4-4 is about $4500 (w/shifter and slip yoke). Slipper clutch would be about $1200. Flywheel (steel about 300, aluminum about 450). I'd stay w/steel since there is less maintenance. Bell housing...

    Post your 10 second combo

Nice car One of the class racers (Jeff) says 1320/MPH=optimum ET! So that being said if you get the suspension working properly you're headed for a 10.15 The clutch will thank you for 4.10s or might consider 4.30s. You might also try shifting at 6200 to 6400
