Probably a real dumb question but ....

At any compression over 10:1 the pressure the turbo puts out has to be very limited. 13:1 requires for street use with a carb and without computer control requires 100%+ octane fuel, adding more compression via a turbo requires more octain and ignition control. I run a supercharger on my slant...

    Cylinder wall weld??

JB weld looking repair. Personally unless it is a “numbers matching” restoration, I would just find another 68-71 block.

    Front end setup (Drag Racing)

When you get the alignment done, have the front of the car lifted to the approximate height it will be at the 660 foot mark and have the alignment set to factory specs at that lift height. It is worth .25 to .50 of a second. You can also take the third leaf out of the rear spring pack and put...

    Torq Storm on the way.

With the large pulley on it as it came, it will add 150hp to the 250hp the modified engine made. I bought three smaller pulleys with the kit, and was told by the manufacturer that the smallest pulley will add 500hp. So I’ll start it with 400hp, and end up a year or so down the road with...

    Torq Storm on the way.

Getting close to installing this mini monster into my 69 Valiant 2 door. I have the full four piece pulley set ready for additional power gains as it all works in. It is backed by a 4 speed from a 383 Dart, 9 inch dual disc Ram clutch and for now a 3:23 sure grip. The goal is to have it on the...

    11 3/4 brakes

I found that the complete setup from a 78 cordoba fir onto my 74 A body spindles like the factory planned it that way. 20,000+ miles later if still stops on a dime. The cost of the new rotors were only $65.00 each, and thats up here in Canada.

Lower control arm on my 69 340 4spd dart swinger

If you have the arms off, weld a plate across the bottom to make them stronger. Make sure you have holes in the correct places for making adjustments. Look on the internet for pictures of commercially available ones and then make your own.

    Steering shaft swap

I live on Vancouver island. I would like to swap a manual steering shaft for a power steering shaft to fit in my 69 Valiant. I have a whole manual steering column with column auto shifter for a 69 Valiant, but just need the actual shaft. Anyone want to swap.

    Wonderful Slant 6 intake gasket

With headers, I have often found it difficult to get a good seal the with the thin stock, or even header gaskets. I found the solution buy a company called Rem-Flex. Their graphite intake/exhaust gasket in 1/4 inch thick and it works very well. For the slant six the number is RF6008 costs...

    Update: 71 Demon SRT6

I hope you leave it all ratty-assed looking so when you eat some Mustangs and Camaro they really feel stupid. My turbo 69 Valiant is all shiny and pretty to look at and I seldom get to a chance to school the the other guys.

    1969 Valiant signet for sale

I am moving in a few months, and my project Valiant needs to go. What it currently does not have is the front or rear suspension and steering system. It needs rear outer wheel wells. What it does have is the original 318 and four speed, tinted glass, and registration. $2400 Dale, 250,962-6518...

    Lowered?

If your rear torsion bar mounting point is rusty, and your good with a plasma cutter and wire feed welder, cut the torsion bar mount loose, position the ride height where you want it, and weld the mount back in place. After cleaning all the undercoating, and cleaning out the dirt on the...
