Look at my post father down the line if your car is a colunm shifted auto,you will run into linkage problems with the 727.Just something to think about. Tim

I did a search on this and found some info but the problem i have is,I had a /6 and a 904 swapped in a 360-727 now my shift linkage down between the frame and trans isnt lining up.I see the cross shaft has to be shortened but the frame bracket and trans bracket are at different hights. Had some warm weather this week so it was time to paint, ended up going with a 69 color Alpine white. I will leave the frame rails white in the engine compartment and will black out the front of the core support. I should make more progress this weekend an will post as i go along. Tim
