Won a STR12 off eBay. Still waiting for it to arrive. I was looking at some old stuff on the web saying the top plate can crack due to a backfire. Wanted to know if guys install a pressure release valve as a precaution. What kind and where to mount it?
For those members running the Edelbrock STR12 crossram intake, where can you get the linkage? Also, carb recommendations? Edelbrock or Holley? My car has minor mods. 340 with mild cam, headers, stock 727, & 3.55 gears.

Just got an email reply from Firm Feel and they do R & R only on pumps because they do not have cores. I found a rebuilt 70' unit w/pulley & brackets on ebay. My old pump is the same as 68dartdude. The shaft looks bigger. When the ebay unit arrives, I'll update progress.
Need some help. My 68' Dart (340 w/ a/c) federal p/s pump just went out. Can't find a replacement. Has anyone replace one with a Saginaw pump? Found some bracket kits on jimautoparts.com., but not sure if they would work. Guessing the hose and pulley would be different also.

I just purchased some cool rear bumblebee stripe kit from challengergary. My first time installing. Any helpful tips? I was told wax removal first & spray lots of soap water. Trunk doesn't look too hard. I was more concerned about the quarters.
