Still gathering stuff :)

nice... sport mirror swap for your girl? that ever elusive passenger side mirror is one heck of a score

A few more things,A set of used Eagle I beam rods and Hurst 1/4 stick shifter set up. There isn't a whole lot I need to get other than pistons if I decide to bore the block and get an axle set up. I have the housing, brakes, suregrip center, shock plates,SS springs, hangers. I do need 2 frame rail sleeves for the shackle bushings to go in when the springs get moved to the rails.

I'm Still parts gathering. I went to the WPC MI swap and picked up a nice matching Chrome DS sport mirror, axle U bolts. I picked up an oil filter relocation kit from a FABO member and just scored 2 new Flowmaster mufflers and H pipe off craigslist cheap. The only thing I still need to decide on is pistons and intake for the 360 with 308 heads or do a W2 top end upgrade and either find the exhaust adapters to my std exhaust flanges on my TTI headers or sell these and buy some for a W2 head.

I have one now but I can't figure out which Valiant to put it on. I have been looking for another one. My Signet has a Weiand Action Plus but I noticed that it had 318 ports before I installed it. I didn't have another intake so I had to use that one for now or take it back off later and port match it. The Weiands also don't have provisions for coil brackets and I had to custom make one.

The swap meet I hit over the weekend was very fruitful. I picked up a complete Caltac mono leaf set up with Rancho shocks for dirt cheap and a set of painted A body ralley mirrors. I also swapped a fellow member my shifter for his pistol grip shifter.

I found the specs on the late 80's-early 90's LA 360's. The 91 engine has 8.1 compression,roller cam,193 hp/292 tq and a .410/.410 lift cam and 308 heads.

I decided to sell the chrome mirrors so now I have 2.5 sets to sell off. lol

I finally had the scoop installed in the hood. I supplied the template/hood to VFN years ago so they could start making them and I also did all of the install R&D for them. I bought the scoop from a fellow member and had Glasstek install it. They all do mighty fine work. I was avoiding a nasty accident which sent me right past Glasstek so I swung by with the company truck and had a pick up near my house so it was a no brainer.

Glasstek went the extra mile and reinforced the top of the scoop and fixed all of the chips before primering it for no charge too.

time to bring the hood to the garage finally. I barely have time to work on the other Valiant

I have sat on it for a year so far. I did bring it back to life. It was going to be cut up with a sawzall before I bought it.

I sold the Dana so it has a 7 1/4 bit I do have an 8 3/4 housing with brakes.
