68 barracuda flip top gas cap

starting my restoration now, just installed the gas tank and filler tube. My question is , on the back of the flip top gas cap is there a gasket between the gas cap and body? or is it metal to metal with 3 Philip screws?
 
If my memory serves.. its chromed pot metal to paint, just like badges and other trim. The foam body gasket goes in the trunk between filler tube and quarter.
 
Should have a rubber gasket to seal to fuller tube

Sorry guys! Misread the thread! I thought you were asking about sealing to the filler tube. I believe it was metal to metal when I took it off the car.
