Well first off my Dart has ladder bars. My Pontiac has the cal tracs. It all depends on how high the car sits in the back. You should video the rear of your car and look at the angle of the caltrac bar at the hit. The bars should be pointing at the engine oil pan on the launch. if they are pointing at the back seat in the car at the hit I would move them to the bottom hole and visa versa if they point towards the ground at the hit move them to the top hole. Always run a nickels worth of air gap. Every stock Eliminator guy I know runs air gap. This allows the pinion the rotate and lift the chassis which plants the tires. Try lowering the launch RPM to flash the converter more and that will help also. I have a 5800 stall in the dart but we launch it at 3200 on the trans brake. Any other questions fire away, I am always glad to help.
