Thanks for comments....Looking at the E.T. on my window at the drag races reminds me of things that needed changing in order to run 12:50s on the basic truck motor. 3 pulls on the dyno with a tune on the Diablo. The big kicker was cutting 2 holes in the hood. 1 hole is plumbed to the throttle body and the other one rams fresh air into the engine compartment which keeps the engine cool. I did this hole cutting for the last race of the year and the Duster ran super consistent. Before it was like playing Russian Roulette with a Derringer when it came time to dial it in. Having the overdrive is great. Can go racing all day and still drive home with gas in the tank.
