Looks like the Sidewinder and the Trendsetter are a little different. Sidewinder appears to cut in though the dogleg of the fender down in the rocker area

    Adjustment for positive Camber?

Thanks guys, lots of great info. My goal is just to learn as much as possible and do what I can to get things close. I will probably pick up a caster/camber gauge and give it a try. Shops in my town want $300 for an alignment and dont know anything about classic cars.

Yes, the tan with the blue is unique, kinda catching. I have the same color interior except the exterior was brown. With the red/white/blue I’m not sure. It has later 90s Corvette bucket seats in red that matches the red on the exterior. Previous owner did a repaint several years ago. I think...

    Pistons

Buy a car. Prices never came down. Good cars bring good money! Junk cars prettied up are still there for less and then total junk. Good Cars are still sold at above what they were worth years ago.

When is a new car "yours"?

For me it takes time. When I first got my Dart I would swear it was testing me. All kinds of little things, like it quit driving down the street for no apparent reason. Then I would find some stupid little thing and fix it. Then something else, and this went on for a couple of weeks. Finally one...

What is the horse power benefits

A better than average build with a reground cam? W/3.55’s? Not happening. Not possible. Speak with Oregon cams. They’ll set you up with something along the lines of a cam of 226@050 with more lift. If you choose an OEM AVS, you’ll need the MoPar dual plane intake which if it’s actually found...

19 70 driver side exhaust manifold interchange

So I'm pretty sure a standard head pipe for the driver side will work. The passenger side is using a truck manifold which looks identical to a manifold that I took off a 360 duster so that actually might be a standard manifold. Also been communicating with accurate exhaust for a week now. Their...

    Tail of two darts

Years back, Mr. Gasket and Hurst had what was called a "universal" three speed shifter. That is something you might look into if you can't find anything else.

    Internal Retaining Rings

Yeah, think that are made off shores. Look at McMasterCarr. And you also would be better off using the spiral lock ones, but that depend on what is called for from the piston maker.

    360 vs 383

My train of thought is what I would be presented within say....1986-1993. I had not alot of money. I had some skill and cores were plentiful and cheap. Any 360 had pistons way down in the bore ATDC. A 383 had a piston providing ideal compression. Im talking a good sound core re using as many...
