Yes...pass side port will be ported vacuum...none at idle. If you're setting your timing with the vac hose connected to the manifold vacuum port, you're getting vacuum advance at idle, which is messing up your readings.

Dana...if you can find one of these console tach mounting gaskets (A or B body), the shape is the same...and the spacer is 1/2 to 5/8" thick. I had a guy make a spacer from billet aluminum for me after looking for years for the plastic ones.

All A + B body '67 bucket seats have the holes for headrests...just need the install kit, which I believe Classic still sells, and the correct year headrests...they go right in.

Put that electric floor fan in front of/pointing at the rad...not much air going though the rad at that location. Also, I don't hear much lifter chatter...could your rockers be a bit tight?...that can cause overheating as well. Just my thoughts, bud...:thumbsup:

Mine won’t now…replaced main wire w/14ga. and changed to LED bulbs… pulls just over 3A now.

PCV should be sucking all that smoke into the carb base….valve/hoses/carb port plugged?

Maybe its the block on that side, not the head? Also…smoke coming from both valve covers???… not running PCV then?

'67 didn't offer tips...they had turn-downs....you'll have to McGyver the mounting, if you're using '68-up square tips.

"HEMI tick" refers to the newer Gen 3 Hemi's, which have roller lifters.

The supply wire is the one that was getting warm when I tested. I didn’t check any other wires.

So if I change the gauge of the main power supply wire to the harness I might be able to use it with the PIAA’s?

Maybe my PIAA bulbs (60/55W) draw more current than std. halogen lamps. I did notice Crackedback’s kits use 12 gauge wire?

Just be aware… those kits are made with 16 ga. wire…tried one on my Dart with PIAA halogen bulbs…30 secs and the wires were warm to the touch. I’d stay away!

I would say your taillights COULD BE brightened by just the headlight load being reduced on the entire lighting system....JMHO....

RTV is fine along the China walls and around the water ports...just don't go stupid with it!
