Here is my 1966 Barracuda stock and with new vintage American Torq Thrust rims

Today I completed the install of my vintage American Torq thrust rims and tires changing out the wheel, studs.

Well now I am 15/16 of the way completed. I was able to put the new wheel studs in no issues thank goodness and mount the other two rims. Man, this car looks completely different from my mothers car to my car.

I know I’ve put this on other threads, but I am so pleased with how the torq thrust rims look

The rim with is 6 3/4 with A 3 3/8 offset so even I would say

I found a person to restore them locally in San Jose California Had to fix a bolt hole pattern and the rims had curb rash

I’m halfway to installing my reconditioned American torq thrust rims

Well, thank you for your help. It turned out my eyes were larger than what the car could handle had to change to a 215/60r14

America’s tire is helping me by putting on three different sizes of tires so I can figure out what will fit on the barracuda. Tire sizes are 225/60r14,225/70r14 and 236/60 r14.

Well, the wheel sure does look great. Where did you find your center caps? Do you have a part number for them? What car do you have have them on?

The rims have been drilled for a larger out diameter lug nut for a 7/16-20 thread. One rim was not drilled. So new lug nuts with conical washers. Can you post any photos of your rims on a ride? Thanks

After owning this used set of American torque thrust T 70 r for a couple of years. I finally found a person out of San Jose, California to restore them to go onto 66 Plymouth barracuda. Over the years, I have only seen one other set. I purchased them around June 2020
