I agree don't get me wrong I love the tin grille trucks but there is just something about the 80s I really really like. And I prefer the cross grille over the early 80s square pattern
You know I haven't even measured them yet. I was assuming they are 5 on 4.5. My plan is to run some steel wheels with poverty caps like on my dart. I plan on lowering it a couple inches and running some 255/60/15s on the rear and maybe 235/60s on the front. But that's way in the future lol
Yea im really excited to get started on that truck. It's got alot of little things mostly cosmetic. I'm not doing anything major on it until the dart is painted! Gotta stay focused haha
I recently acquired my next project. I know I don't need a other one but I got an itch and has to scratch it! I've been wanting another square body dodge truck since I sold my 85 W150. So I got this one last Friday. It's a 88 D100 with a 3.9 v6. It's going to be swapped with a 5.9 magnum...
This is exactly why I went with manifolds. So much easier and everything fits. And I can change spark plugs without pulling the engine. Lol I understand if you are trying to squeeze every last tenth of a second out of your car but for me mines a street car I'll sacrifice a couple hp for convenience
I just got done doing this I was way over my allowed messages since my gold membership ended. On the mobile version you have to click the boxes to the right of each message then go the the top where it says "selected" click that then scroll to the bottom where the tab pops up and scroll thru the...
I hope you don't think that's what I was implying in my post. I was not I was simply giving him my experience. I'm all for building a budget 318 but in my situation the cost was gonna be the same 318 vs 360. So for my budget it was the best bang for my buck to go with the 360. I was in no way...
I got mine off a 2001 ram 1500. Had to do a little work on the drivers side to get the downpipe to fit right but it fits using a floor shifter. Now a column shifter I dont believe it would idk tho it would be tight. I actually ended up using the factory downpipe from the same ram and cutting and...
In my experience nothing "performance" Is ever cheap. Its a never ending rabbit (money) hole. I started off similar to you was going to take an 80s 318 and clean it up regasket it add a small cam a 4 bbl intake headers etc. Well I pulled the heads to find that it needed to be overbored pulled...
No. I quit that it was making me old! Haha I work here and there if I need the extra money for parts! Lol. I usually average 1 day a month now. Those 72-84 hour weeks started to get to me. When I was 20 it wasn't bad but I'm almost 40 now haha
Yea buddy! I really need to get on here more often I really miss you guys! I gotta get back on my YouTube channel as well I've been slipping over there too! I haven't made anything since February!
Hey bud just saw this yea my inbox is full. My gold membership expired and now my inbox is like 1000% percent haha to much to delete. So I gotta deal with it until I renew my gold membership. What's up?
Hey girl! How you been? Oh yea it's moving well. Still alot to be done but I've been mostly driving and enjoying it more than working on it. Lol I do need to pull the transmission yet again I found another leak. (This is the 4th time lol) this time it's the front seal. But yes it's moving and...
I absolutely hate an angle grinder for this exact reason! I've had many many close calls and a couple small injuries that's could have been alot worse than they were with them. I had a close call just a month or so ago I had a cut off wheel buck and caught my sweatshirt. Luckily it didn't hit...
There's no other sound that compares thats for sure. Tuning isn't really as bad as let on either when the proper steps are followed. I've fought with edelbrocks a heck of alot more and never get it quite right.
