I don't have any experience with an early A, but i used to have a low horsepower 5 speed car (not a mopar) and i was begging for a 6th gear on the interstate..so in my opinion, if you decide to change out to a different transmission, go with a 6 speed

I've got a 75' dart sport w/ slant 6 1 bbl. i can't keep the battery charged or the car running. parts i've replaced: Battery alternator battery cables voltage regulator ballast resistor what am i missing?! why can't i get my car to start and stay running?

My Dart has been called a nova, there's also a guy that has told me several times i need to "put me a big chevy 350 in it" (this same guy has a 30 or 40 something plymouth with a complete chevy drive train in it.

My 225 /6 in my dart sport is running rich around town, when i get on the highway it either straightens out or i don't notice the smell anymore. it's got a holley one barrel on it. anyne know what may be causing it?
