    I'm thinking about installing a different set of headers. I'd like to get more tire clearance in my fenderwells. So, these Hooker Super Comps are being pulled and the sheetmetal repaired.     alternator field wires

    Does it matter which location the field wires go on the alternator? Can they be reversed? How do they affect the charging system as they both go to the voltage regulator? Thanks in advance, Greg

    return line on mechanical pump?
