    It is a 3/tree and is during shift and acceleration. It is new/rebuilt and I put it on and followed the instructions as best I could to set correctly. It is now also doing when I out throttle 1/4 way down in first after start. Thnx guys for replies. I sure missed this place.

    Wow, thanks for the info. My only issue right now with the 3/column is that it will not stay in 2nd. Falls out and when clutching it bumps hard at the end of the pedal. She's just a project tinker and runs and drives so im trying to stay on low dollar side.

    My Rosey is a 65 valiant with a super 225 and a three speed tranny. Problem is that when i am shifting from 1st up to 2nd, the gear lever will just call out of gear. Nany ideas fo an affordable solution to this issue?

    Thnx. Ive got red silicone sealant and plan on draining radiator and removing to replace pump. Ill clean the flat surface and put on the gasket and hope all goes well. Thnx so much for the info.

    Thanks guys. I went to start her the other day and the starte is burned out (i believe). I think the solenoid on the starter is shot. Wouldnt cross over and jump start. Just kind of sizzled when i turned key over. Im gonna have to get a new starter before i can do anything else. Thnx again

    Thnx all. So i took a look at the dist again and turned over the engine. I think a small part of the issue is the points cam is wroe down. There are only small "humps" not sharp ridges left and i think that they arent even wore downevenly. Can the points cam be removed and replaced?

    Its a new carb. Not a holley. I plan on replacing plugs again i had lots of touble several months ago getting it to fire and run...180 out, etc, timing back fire. New cap and button. I am oing to replace the fuel filter again and reblow outthe lines. New tank also. Thanks for the help...

    As the post says, i can cruise in second without issues. Shift to third and it boggs down. Does that sound like plugs, fuel filt, carb adjustment, etc ? New carb, runs and idles fine. Thnx guys

    So i think i got it repaired to driveable quality. On the column under the hood there was a cap tat was slid down about 3/4 inch. I pushed the cap and the "plastic bearing" back up and redrilled hoes to place set screws and it doesnt fall out of second and is stiffer. Thnx guys.
