Anyone have a link for a correct fitting speedometer cable for a 69 Valiant with 727? I purchased one from EBay, the length and the trans end was ok but speedometer end would not snap in. The nylon end is not deep enough.

I have installed the Toyota denso alt in my 69 Valiant, my question is do I have to do anything with the original wires that go to the factory mechanical voltage regulator, or just leave them disconnected?

I’m running a wire from alt to starter relay, just wondering if I should keep the original charging wire on the alt also?

Installing Denso alternator. My question is,do I keep the factory charge wire connected to the alternator? I will be running a separate wire from alternator to starter relay and I’m keeping the amp gauge hooked up. Just didn’t know if there will be two wires on the alternator stud.

Have a 69 Valiant with spool mount k member/400 with stealth heads/727 and Schumacher shorty headers. There is no way the factory engine oil dipstick tube is going to work( with out serious rework). Just wondering if someone has sure fit alternate?

I have a fresh rebuilt transmission on my bench and I put an A&A valve body and low reverse servo. Took tail-shaft off to get to low reverse band lever pin out,everything worked out fine but I can’t get the band strut back in. Are there any secrets to reinstalling? Thanks!!

Have a 69 Valiant with 4 wheel drums, going with 11 inch rear drums and 73 up A body front disk setup. Do I need a factory prop valve or should I just plumb in a adjustable prop valve for the rear brakes?

Where can I find bushings that fit? Got two AC Delco bushings from Rock Auto, one slipped on with no resistance the other worked fine. They sent me another bushing and had same issue WTF? They are sending me another. Don’t want to go through this again. Anybody know bushings that definitely fit?

Do they make the housing gasket for the 69? They make the lens gasket,I have those but also need the housing gasket also. Found housing gasket for 68 ,anybody know if they will fit a 69?

I sure it’s been asked a million times! What is most/least backspacing you can have on a 15 inch wheel with 8 3/4? Suspension in stock location. Have my eye on a set of auto drags but have no rear end in it yet. They are 15x7 3 1/2 bs.

Anybody have 2 center caps for these wheels in decent condition? Will consider all 4 if that’s the way you want to sell. Don’t know if small bolt pattern will be the same?

anybody have a pic of the door glass run channel weather strip? Bought reproduction strips but can’t get it to fit. It’s a 2 door sedan but I’m sure 4 door is the same. Just want to make sure I have the correct ones.

I have a 69 Valiant that had a bench seat,bought a set of reproduction SS seat brackets. Anyone have pics or info on how and where they attach to the floor? I know they go between the bench seat mount and trans tunnel but just need some more info.
