thanks for all the advice guys. I think grinding it out and welding it seems to be the way to go. I was thinking of using a product made by Devcon. It is a 2 part epoxy steel that is sandable and may also work. As usual always nice to here what others are doing. thnaks FABO members

make sure your ujoint on the rearend has the retaining clips on the outside of the caps, mine fell out and i got a wicked vibration.there is a bit of play were the yoke goes into the transmission that is normal. does your driveshaft still have the balancing weight on it? sometimes they come off...

Just put the dart on the road yesterday after restoration. I have a question what should rpm be in 4th gear with standard transmission at about 60 mph.
